Acoustic performance emerges from the interaction of materials, construction, and spatial planning. The most effective solutions work on multiple levels at once.

Absorption reduces reverberation. Reflection and diffusion preserve liveliness where it is needed. Isolation prevents sound from moving between spaces. A strong acoustic strategy considers all three together.
