Client's Vision

Metso aimed to reflect its innovative leadership in sustainable mining through its physical space. The goal was to create a high-performance, hybrid workplace that could resonate with a multigenerational team while embodying the company's forward-thinking and environmentally conscious brand values.

Design Strategy

We focused on flexibility, inclusivity, and sustainability. The plan integrated distinct zones for focused work, collaborative engagement, informal interactions, and rest. Every element, from custom millwork to tactile finishes, was thoughtfully selected to reinforce Metso’s identity and accommodate different working styles.

Key Challenge

Designing a single workspace that felt relevant and empowering to a team spanning Gen Z to traditionalists, while also delivering on sustainability commitments and reinforcing a unified brand experience.

Our Solution

We took a layered approach, merging hybrid work principles with bespoke design touches. Specialized millwork, eco-conscious materials, and bold feature walls created a branded, tactile experience. Each zone was carefully considered to support workstyle diversity while reinforcing a shared culture rooted in sustainability.

Defining Moments

  • Flexible zones for solo, collaborative, and social work
  • Brand-forward millwork and wall features that unify the space
  • Eco-friendly finishes aligned with Metso’s sustainability goals

  • Distinct fixtures and materiality reflecting innovation and impact
