Opencare’s 3,400 sq. ft. Toronto office was designed as a wellness-first workspace. Moving beyond the standard office model, the space fosters focus, calm, and comfort. Soft materials, warm tones, and considered zoning create a balanced environment that reflects the company’s progressive values and commitment to employee well-being.
To design a workplace that aligns with Opencare’s mission to prioritize wellness, not just for their patients, but for their team. The space needed to feel comfortable, calming, and distinctly non-corporate.
We intentionally moved away from conventional office design, using materials, light, and layout to create a residential atmosphere. The plan organizes the space around quiet focus zones and open collaborative areas, all underscored by softness in tone and materiality.
Balancing the operational needs of a growing tech team with the desire for a tranquil, home-like workspace.
We curated tactile finishes, soothing colour palettes, and natural light to define a wellness-forward office. Furniture layouts support flexibility, while distinct spatial zones offer autonomy for different workstyles. The result is a space that encourages both calm and productivity.
