This collection of townhomes balances context and character, merging West Coast contemporary lines with the understated textures of its surrounding Hamilton neighborhood.
To rezone and develop a formerly agricultural site into a residential enclave that introduces elevated, contemporary living while remaining sensitive to the surrounding suburban fabric.
We focused on creating continuity with the neighborhood through materiality; using wood, brick, and siding in a clean, modern application. The architecture draws from West Coast inspiration: open volumes, natural finishes, and a connection to the outdoors.
How do you design something new that adds architectural value while integrating effortlessly into an established neighborhood?
We designed the homes with spacious balconies, vaulted ceilings, and expansive windows, ensuring access to light and outdoor space without compromising privacy. Master ensuites and functional living zones were carefully planned to elevate everyday living. The overall massing and materiality were kept deliberately restrained, enabling the project to stand out quietly.
