A corporate office reimagined for a creative, client-facing business. Dulcedo’s Toronto headquarters brings together everyday work, talent visits, brand partnerships and content creation across multiple levels. New skylights draw daylight deeper into the building, while a flexible layout supports the changing needs of a team working at the intersection of talent, culture and brand.

Dulcedo needed a headquarters that reflected its place in the creative industry. The existing downtown Toronto office felt dated, enclosed and disconnected from the business it housed. The opportunity was to rethink the building as a contemporary, welcoming destination that could support the agency's evolving needs and create a stronger impression for employees, talent and brand partners.
The design approach focused on creating a more open and adaptable workplace, with distinct areas for collaboration, focused work, meetings and content creation. Improving the experience of natural light was also central to the strategy, making the most of the building's skylight openings to create a brighter interior and a stronger connection between levels.
Transforming a dated, multi-level downtown building into a bright, flexible headquarters while working within existing building conditions and coordinating the interior design with significant roof, skylight, entrance and mechanical upgrades on a fixed timeline.
Working with Truspace, we re-planned the interior across multiple levels to accommodate the different ways Dulcedo uses its headquarters. Open areas support collaboration and everyday work, while acoustically separated spaces provide privacy for meetings and focused activities. The layout also allows the office to shift between daily operations, talent visits, client meetings and content creation. The renewed skylights bring natural light deeper into the building, changing the experience of the upper floors and creating a stronger visual connection between levels. Considered details, including a ceiling paint transition in the third-floor kitchen, add character to the space without losing sight of its overall function.
